Ready-made strands
We process a variety of different stranded wires in fully, semi-automatic and manual production.
With a few exceptions, cutting, stripping and crimping is fully automated and thus of reproducible quality for our customers.
Our high degree of automation also allows us to produce very competitively in Germany.
Our quality control before delivery is done in 3 steps:
Crimp force, connection test, visual.
Assembled cables
A large proportion of our customer articles are made from multi-core sheathed cables and connectors. In contrast to simple stranded wires, products with sheathed wires cannot be processed fully automatically in most cases. A whole series of manual work steps often have to be carried out before the finished product is ready. However, it goes without saying that processes such as cutting to length, stripping, stripping and termination of contacts are supported by state-of-the-art automatic machines.
Our rotary stripping machines from SCHLEUNIGER and RITTMEYER guarantee fast and precise removal of cable insulation without damaging the inner conductors. Soldering work and the assembly of connectors are of course left to the trained hand.
We assemble products from AMPHENOL, BINDER, HARTING, HIRSCHMANN, LAPP, MONACOR, NEUTRIK, PHOENIX, PFLITSCH, SCHURTER, WAGO and WÜRTH, among others.
Ribbon cable
At EMSsourcing we process more than 10 km of ribbon cable per year. The majority are cables with the cross-section AWG28/AWG26, to which we attach pin, micro-match and DSUB connectors using insulation displacement connection technology (IDC).
Of course, we also assemble ribbon cables with crimp contacts, ferrites and EMC shielding.
We assemble products from TE CONNECTIVITY, WÜRTH, HARTING, FCI, ECON, AMPHENOL and CONEC, among others.
Coaxial cable
Our rotary stripping machines from KOMAX and SCHLEUNIGER strip coaxial cables cleanly and in reproducible quality.
Short cycle times ensure cost-optimized production, even for larger quantities.
Among others, RG58, RG178, RG223 and RG316 coaxial cables are processed, which are provided with SMA, MCX, N, F and BNC connectors.
We assemble products from HUBER+SUHNER, SAMTEC, TELEGÄRTNER, TE CONNECTIVITY and WÜRTH, among others.
